Keynote speaker Matthew Sutton, a CEO with AECOM, did not show for the meeting, a fact Wigington pinned on a phone call made by Shasta County Resource Management Director Rick Simon. Simon said he called Sutton days before the supervisors’ meeting to make sure he knew AECOM was contracted with Shasta County to update the county’s general plan, but he was unsure if that affected his decision not to speak. Shasta County, Cali. – Over a hundred people gathered today and 12 experts spoke on their concerns over chemtrails.

California county supervisors listened to formal input from experts and people concerned over geo-engineering above Redding and other cities around the world. Geo-engineering started in the 1940′s according to NASA.

Many people believe administration of chemicals is through the airplane exhaust system used to manipulate the weather.

The Shasta County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously this afternoon to investigate further on “chemtrails” after nearly four hours of public comment on the issue.

Supervisor Pam Giacomini put the item on the agenda, and a number of chemtrail experts addressed the panel, followed by dozens of citizens who blamed a host of health and environmental risks caused by chemtrails.

Droves of residents voiced their concern, suggesting their illnesses are linked  to chemtrails, including cancer, fibers growing out of their skin, general feelings of malaise, neurological problems and compromised immune systems.

According to the local newspaper, many had environmental concerns of environmental damage, including insects disappearing from one property, trees failing, aquatic insects dying off in water contaminated by aluminum, drought, wildfires and holes in the ozone layer.

Some suggest chemicals are being released in the contrails of jets and leading to the buildup of heavy metals in the soil and waterways, an increase in ultraviolet radiation, changes in weather patterns and negative health effects.

The  meeting featured, Dane Wigington, a Bella Vista man who runs geoengineeringwatch.org, will speak to the board along with Matthew Sutton, an environmental consultant with AECOM; Rosalind Peterson, former USDA officer now with California Sky Watch; Alan Buckman, formerly a biologist with California’s Department of Fish and Game; Francis Mangles, a retired biologist with the U.S. Forest Service; neurologist Hamid Rablee; former pilots Jeff Nelson, Russ Lazuka and Fred Meyer; Mark McCandlisk; and Earendil M. Spindelilus.
